Repair Services:

  • We specialize in clothes repairs, alterations, and other tailoring needs. Bring your garments in, and we’ll assess how best to achieve the repairs.

  • The Workshop is situated at 2C Ewhurst Road, SE4 1AQ.

Parking:

  • Free residential parking is available in the area, along with additional spaces on nearby side roads.

Booking:

  • Walk-ins are accepted, but we recommend booking for fittings.

  • Use our online system to find available dates and times.

What to Bring:

  • For dress or trouser hem shortenings, please bring a pair of suitable shoes.

Group Fittings:

  • Yes! Each booking accommodates two people for a thirty-minute fitting.

  • Group bookings for three or more people are also available; email us at theworkshop.clothing@gmail.com for details.

Alteration Timelines:

  • General alterations: Approximately 1 week

  • Bridal alterations: Minimum 4 weeks

  • Bespoke alterations: 4-8 weeks

Additional Services:

Machine Repair Drop-Off:

  • We collaborate with Lewisham & Deptford Sewing Machines UK to serve as a convenient drop-off point for machines in need of repair.

  • Every Wednesday at midday, they collect the machines from our location.

  • After servicing, they will directly contact you when your machine is ready for pick up from us.
